I have loved art and computers my entire life. I lived in the art room in high school, but chose to get a BS in Computer Science and Statistics for my first degree. After many years of working (Programming and Software Product Management) in the semiconductor industry, I decided to spend a few years at home with the kids and teach myself to paint in my spare time. I have read a lot of books, taken a few workshops (with Terry Madden, Tom Lynch and Mike Bailey) and paint regularly with a group of friends. I joined the Santa Clara Valley Watercolor Society to mingle with others who paint. While at home with the kids, I spent many years learning and using Photoshop and Illustrator and doing graphic design for local merchants. I also went back to school for a degree in web design, digital media, and digital publishing to learn some new topics.
